Zhurong Peak is the highest point of 72 peaks in Nan Yue. It is one of the Nan Yue four Peerless Peaks. Mount. Hengshan's highest point was named Zhurong Peak in commemoration of the country myth of "Emperor Chi's” significant contribution.
The altitude of Zhurong Peak 1,290 meters. Under the lining in smoke of cloud contrasting with the peak group, it constituted the "ten thousand feet to pull out, you should see the smoke” grand sight. There are a great number of temples located near Zhurong Peak.
There is Shangfeng temple on its south. There is the View Sun Platform on the mountain behind the temple. After the sky clear up after raining, tourists may see the marvelous sight of "the red glowing sun rolling golden ball".
There is the Zhurong Palace built at the reign of Emperor Wanli in Ming Dynasty. There is stone balustrade rear the rock. The Beishan Mountains scenery is in panoramic view.
