The Lion Cave is located at Lion Hill, 5 kilometers west of Jiujiang County. It acquires fame because of the mountain. The Lion Cave is a typical model of a lava cavern. The entire cave length is 500 meters and the total area occupied is 3,050 square meters.
There is one scenery pavilion and more than 40 landscapes with various shapes of dazzling stones, pinnacle stone curtain with overwhelming momentum, the stone chrysanthemum, fragrance stone lotus that resembles blossoms, the lifelike stone beast are like a stone carving treasure house providing a marvelous and splendid view.
The Lion Cave gained high praises from the public; overseas tourists and lava geologists for its scenery centralism, uniqueness, crystal clear rocks and strong sculptures.
