Falling Star Rock is also named as Shi Luoxing. It is located near the upper stream of Boyang Lake, 3 miles from Chengnan, Xingzi County. It is a small stone island with the height exceeding feet, the distance about 100 steps vertically and horizontally occupying a total area of only 1,800 square meters. The shape is like a star at first sight floating on the water surface, turning into falls where the star melts. Song Renjiang's wonderful verse described "today's stone in the lake, same as the other year's star". Fable has it that an Emperor of fifth generation bestows seals the mountain as "the valuable rocky mountain", and constructed "lucky star Long Anyuan" on Yu Shidun.
Restoration work was performed after Song dynasty. The pavilion was extended during the Ming Dynasty like floating jade floor, the jade Beijing porch, the hillock ripples porch, the clear sunshine Chinese style pavilion and so on where they experienced the vicissitudes and survived endlessly. The fresh bamboo pillar is boundary, quiet and tasteful and is as beautiful as before. Stand and wait above for a long time: looking out into the distance of Mount Lushan, the pale smoke lightly covers the grand appearance; near viewing of the lake water, ocean waves color day after day.
