Nengren Temple is located in the Jiujiang urban district with the old name of "receives the day courtyard" It was first constructed during the reign of Emperor Liangdi of Southern Dynasty (A.D. 503 - 528 years). The name was later changed to Nengren Temple during the bright Hongwu 31 years (1498). The existing buildings comprised mainly those built in the Qing Dynasty.
