Bless People Temple is situated inside local 81 parks northern city, with the East Lake on east bank. It was constructed during the Southern Dynasty of Liang Tianjian year (502 - 519 years). The name was changed to the Bless People Temple during Qing Dynasty of Shunzhi year. In Jiaqing year, it received a copper cast Buddha in the palace, the height is 1.6 feet and the weight of 36,000 catties. The Nanchang folk proverbs; "Nanchang is poor and poor, but still possessed 36,000 extremely heavy copper", namely refers to this statue. In 1929, the temple was called "blessed the people temple" for convenience. The copper Buddha was destroyed during the initial period of the Great Cultural Revolution. It was gradually reconstructed since September 1986. At the beginning of 1991, the mountain entrance, the Son of Heaven palace, Daxiong palace, the pharmacist palace, the bell tower is opened one after another. The incense and candle burning in abundance and is known as the "three treasures of Nanchang" (the copper Buddha bless temple, bell tower copper clock, Pu virtuous temple iron statue).
