Ancient Street in Song Dynasty is located in the centre of the Tunxi Dist, with a length of 1,273 meters. It is a business walk street possessing construction style of the Southern Song Dynasty and the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The shop is compact on both sides of the street; the storefront, workshop, housing is trinity. It reserves ancient time's merchant "shop in front of work place" or "shop in front of the house" management pattern and characteristic. Buildings are only 2 or 3 floors high with wooden tenon type structure, stone base, the brickwork, the horse head wall, the small grey tile, the Hui woodcarving, the gold-lettered signboard, the Red pavilion double-eaved roof. They are pure, elegant, magnificent and noble. The ancient signboard, cultural characteristic and customs in Ancient Street is well preserved, manisfesting Anhui's Confucian merchant. The ancient street is also known as "Moving QingMing ShangHe picture"
