Located in the Jingfeng zone of Yinchuan City in Ningxia under the foot of Helan Mountain, Yinchuan Yuehai Park has an altitude of 1,100 meters. The length measures ten kilometers from south to north and the width is 2.7 kilometers from east to west.
The area occupied is more than 2,000 hectares, including watering area of more than 1,000 hectares and breeding area of more than 500 hectares. There are 114 types of natural plants and 107 species of birds. Yinchuan Yuehai Park has become the biggest ecological wetland park in the nearing suburb of Yinchuan City.
