Xiaozhao Monastery is located on the northeastern part of Lhasa city. It is composed by the garden, temple, gate tower, Buddha Statues, golden roof and the interior and exterior winding corridor. The total area is approximately 4,000 square meters. The main building of Xiaozhao Monastery is three storeys. The basement is divided into the entrance, scripture hall and Buddhist temple hall. Immeasurable long-lived images of Buddha were drawn on the porch wall along the periphery turned corridor. The top storey is the Chinese type glazed tile. The temple was named "Jiada Remuqizu lakang" the meaning of which is 'Hanhu God Temple" There are the eight years old gold statues and images of Buddha and Tang Ka and so on in the temple. In 1962, it was listed as the autonomous region key cultural relic preservation unit.
